Design firm HGA has added Heather Novak-Peterson as senior environmental graphic designer and associate vice president in Minneapolis.
She will focus on designing branded environments and products for new and existing clients across HGA’s markets, including corporate, healthcare, and education.
Novak-Peterson has more than 15 years of experience creating custom art, graphics, branding, finishes, signage, and products for corporate offices, retail stores, restaurants, and residential buildings locally and nationally.
Before joining HGA, she was a designer with several leading Twin Cities architecture firms.
Among her notable Twin Cities projects are a series of regionally inspired murals and ink-washed canvas paintings at the historic Andrus Building; a three-story exterior Garden Quilt public-art installation for The City of Edina; watercolor graphics for Allina Green Way Clinic and Urgent Care; neighborhood-inspired murals for Meet Minneapolis; Sasquatch (Big Foot) sightings and North Woods graphics for Jack Link’s Corporate Headquarters; and floor-to-ceiling forest graphics at the all-timber T3 Building.
Additionally, she has displayed her graphic art at regional galleries; created hand-illustrated artwork for two children’s books, A Bear from Eau Claire, and A Horse in the Tree; and published a book of poetry and photography, Architectural Orphans.
