Yahoo News is looking for a politics junkie and a lover of photojournalism and the facts. We are in search of a multi-talented news info graphic designer, who can create fast editorial photo illustrations as well as serve as a photo editor.
We are a small, yet robust team with a focus on politics, the intelligence community and social injustices.
- Must have at least 5 years of experience on a news website and building stories via a content management system.
- Interactive graphic experience is a big plus.
- Job includes art direction, research/curation and production of feature and breaking news stories plus special requests from Front Page and special section teams.
- Applicant must have full knowledge of copyright laws regarding image licensing and usage.
This is a full time M-F, 8:30am – 4:30pm contract position but applicant must be flexible in hours given breaking news and special events.
